Surveillance Activities Conducted by State Intelligence Agencies: Human Rights-Based Approaches to Intelligence Oversight

The Workshop is intended to facilitate discussion on how national and international human rights law norms and institution, can inform the evaluation of intelligence oversight mechanisms. It will bring together leading human rights academics and practitioners from various countries, for an in-depth discussion on themes that have emerged from previous workshops convened by the organizers. The goal will be to develop an understanding that can inform the work of the UN human rights bodies and other national and international bodies.
