Book Launch: Building Democracy on Sand

On Monday, January 28, 2013, IDI and Am Oved Publishers hosted an evening dedicated to the Hebrew edition of IDI President Dr. Arye Carmon's new book, Building Democracy on Sand, which will be published in English in the months to come. This book describes the quest to adopt a constitution by consensus, and interweaves the story of Israeli democracy with Dr. Carmon's personal story. The event was open to the public and took place at the Konrad Adenauer Conference Center, in Mishkenot Sha'ananim, Jerusalem.
