Mr. Avi Naor, a leading figure in Israel's high-tech industry, is receiving the Lifetime Achievement award for his work as the founder and funder of Or Yarok—The Association for Safer Driving in Israel. A member of IDI's Board of Directors, Avi Naor has played a crucial role reducing the number of traffic fatalities in Israel over the years and has been involved in a wide range of activities for at–risk youth and members of Israel's marginalized populations.
Mrs. Adina Bar-Shalom, the Founder of the Haredi College in Jerusalem, will receive the prestigious prize for her efforts to advance higher education within Israel's ultra-Orthodox community.
