Founded in 2022
The National Unity Party (HaMachane HaMamlakhti) is a centrist Zionist electoral list established in the run-up to the 2022 elections. It included representatives from Benny Gantz's Blue and White , Gideon Saar's New Hope as well as Gadi Eizenkot and Matan Kahana.
The list's principles include the support of the idea of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people; a commitment to the democratic nature of the state; and an obligation to safeguard the indenpendency of the Judiciary and the separation of powers.
In 2024 New Hope split from the list and changed its name to the The United Right.

However, several days after the October 7th attack by Hamas, it agreed to join the right-wing coalition. Five members were appointed as ministers without portfolio. In march 2024 Gideon Sa'ar faction resigned the government, and 3 months later the rest of the ministers resigned as well.
