One Israel
(Yisrael Ahat)
One Israel (Yisrael Ahat) was a joint list made up of the Labor Party, Gesher and Meimad, which ran in the 1999 elections, and won 26 seats. Its candidate for Prime Minister, Ehud Barak, was elected in direct elections against Binyamin Netanyahu. Out of the 26 seats held by One Israel, 23 went to candidates from the Labor Party, two from Gesher, and one from Meimad. In the summer of 2000, Gesher left the list. The list disbanded before the 2003 elections.

One Israel was the ruling party and the senior partner in the government of Ehud Barak. Its members continued to serve as Ministers during the first government of Ariel Sharon.
