Founded in 2018
The New Right was established in the run-up to the 2019 elections by Naftali Bennett and Ayelet Shaked after the two announced their departing of the Jewish Home. The New Right is a Zionist right-wing party offering a common frame for secular and religious Jews. Its main principles include objection to Palestinian State, restrain of the judicial activism and free economy. Shaked and Bennett present themselves as co-chairmen of the party. The party failed to cross the electoral threshold.
