Roundtable Discussion- Cultural and Multicultural Policy: Between the majority and the minority
Multiculturalism and social heterogeneity in national cultural policy, are consistent with the principles and approaches of liberalism, humanism and globalization. The round-table discussion will focus on the challenges in planning and implementing cultural policy in multi-cultural societies, such as Israel, where relationships between the majority group and minorities are fraught with tension.
The discussion is an initiative of the Israel Democracy Institute in cooperation with the Forum for Cultural Institutions
