Miriam Awad Morad is a researcher in the Education for Democracy Policy Program at IDI and manages the Arab Department at Lexidale, a firm specializing in policy research and strategic consulting.
Miriam specializes in developing innovative pedagogical models, with a particular focus on Culturally Relevant Pedagogy (CRP). Her work advances democratic citizenship and civic competence across diverse educational contexts, bridging academic research and the practical implementation of education policy, with particular expertise in Arab society within Israel.
She holds an MA in Educational Leadership and Policy and a BA in Art History and Hebrew and Comparative Literature from the University of Haifa, as well as an additional BA in Non-Formal Education and Middle Eastern History from Beit Berl College. She is a PhD candidate in the Department of Leadership and Policy in Education at the University of Haifa.
