The Joint List
Founded in 2015
The Joint List was formed shortly before the 2015 elections, combining candidates from three Arab parties as well as from Hadash. These four parties, represented in the Knesset since 1999, decided to run together in light of the high electoral threshold level, increased to 3.25% a year earlier. The list won 13 seats but internal struggles led to its breaking up towards the April 2019 elections. However, in the next two elections (September 2019 and 2020) the four parties decided to run together once again and received 13 and 15 seats. Towards the 2021 elections, Ra'am left the alliance.
