Mirvat Abu Hadoba-Frieh is a researcher and Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Politics and Government at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Her research focuses on political awareness among national minorities, with particular emphasis on Arab society in Israel and the Kurdish minority in Turkey. Alongside her academic work, she brings extensive professional experience in civil society organizations, the advancement of social rights, and the development of community initiatives. Her key roles have included coordinating a program to advance women’s rights in the unrecognized villages at the Alhuquq Center; serving as a project manager at Sidreh, where she led initiatives in educational completion for women with limited literacy, women’s agricultural greenhouses as part of the “Value Chain” project, and the promotion of political awareness among Bedouin women; and serving as Social Involvement Coordinator at the Rahat Young Adults Center.
