Roundtable: Ultra-Orthodox Leadership - Past and Future

On Thursday, June 30, 2011, IDI's George Shultz Roundtable Forum convened to mark the publication of Dr. Benjamin Brown's book Toward Democratization in the  Haredi Leadership? The Doctrine of Da′at Torah at the Turn of the Twentieth and Twenty-First Centuries.  This event presented diverse views on how patterns of leadership formulated in Haredi society in the past have influenced the nature of Haredi leadership today and may shape its direction in the future.
