The Democracy Index, published annually since 2003, provides a quantitative assessment of Israeli democracy based on a series of international benchmarks and a comprehensive survey of public opinion on the state of Israeli democracy and the performance of government institutions.
The Index’s analysis of survey findings impacts public discourse on the state of Israeli democracy and creates a comprehensive database for informed decision-making among policymakers. This year, the survey was conducted in June, and selected questions were revisited in October.
